A little bit about me
Hi! I'm Tom, well.. Thomas, but please do call me Tom! I found my passion for photography when I was about 18 years young and had hybrid zoom camera. I got into sports, portrait, you name it and at some point I read a book called 'Three songs no flash". That got me thinking differently about photography in a time where I had discovered my love for the music industry. I got myself a second hand Nikon D300 (That I still have for the memory of it).
Eventually traveling to different cities and countries for music festivals was awesome! I'll never forget the team at Electric Love that took me in; drinking a tray of red bull to get through a full weekend of Ultra Europe; shooting Goldfish at Ultra Beach as the sun went down or standing on top of the Marina Bay Sands to take overview shots of Ultra Singapore. I also won't forget my first wedding, which stressed me out more than I thought but the crazy and fun couple made me feel very comfortable.
Late 2024 I started upgrading my gear after a bit of a hiatus from photography. Late 2025 I added my first Cinema camera to my kit and I am slowly getting more comfortable with video content in addition to shooting stills. This journey and the challenges of editing that come with it was something I was scared of for a very long time, but is now something I embrace and love.
Photography is a creative outlet for me and it's made me look differently at people, places, and life. I will go the extra mile to get the shot that I want, like hiking up a volcano at 2am in Hawaii to not just get a shot of active lava, but to combine it with the rising milky way. I am fully confident that I can shoot pretty much anything and I love a challenge! When you hire me, you don't just hire a photographer/videographer, you hire a creator, an artist, who will create something special for you.
